Here’s a Tunisian malouf song
Here’s a Tunisian malouf song called Ghazalan that I heard in a compilation album and it grabbed me after the first listen. The original song has a beautiful oud introduction and the music features some quarter tone notes from the oud arbi’s. Traditionally, malouf music doesn’t use the mandole, but this is my interpretation of the music without the quarter tones on an 8 string mandole (Algiers style).
