Hurricane Proof Soffit - How to Install

After two severe Florida hurricanes (2004 Charlie & 2022 Ian) destroyed my house soffits, I decide to fix them myself and make them Hurricane Proof!  Having 24" roof overhangs on my house made them susceptible to hurricane force wind damage.  Therefore, this time I frame 3 supporting braces under the soffit to make them impervious to hurricanes!
