In The Ghetto - RKC Music HND Session

Morning class. Students create track using instructions given on day only: working out parts from notation, by ear or by improvising. The class lasts for three hours and a live take is recorded during that time.

In The Ghetto - recorded with all students playing live June 2011, with only an extra violin and tambourine overdub, Reid Kerr College, Paisley. Half the performers are on second instrument:

Lead Vocals - Laura Carswell (last minute stand-in on the day due to illness)

Piano - Ally Brown (on course as guitarist)

Tuba - John Gray (usually bass)
Percussion - Ryan Clark
Drums and Tambourine - Ali Dukes
