In the quirky realm of "Beetlejuice," a recently deceased couple, Adam and Barbara Maitland, find themselves trapped in their idyllic New England home as ghosts. Their afterlife takes an unexpected turn when a boisterous, crude spirit named Beetlejuice enters the picture. Desperate to reclaim their home from the insufferable Deetz family, who have moved in and are remodeling it, Adam and Barbara seek Beetlejuice's help.
However, Beetlejuice's chaotic nature and penchant for mischief quickly become apparent, leading to a series of misadventures. As the Deetz family, including the eccentric artist Delia and her daughter Lydia, struggle to coexist with the Maitlands' ghostly presence, Beetlejuice's antics escalate, threatening to unleash chaos on both the living and the dead.
