Liam Gallagher and John Squire: New Music Alert!

Liam Gallagher has hinted at the imminent release of new music with John Squire following their recent debut single "Just Another Rainbow." The collaboration between the former Oasis frontman and the Stone Roses guitarist has excited fans, who can anticipate more material soon. Responding to a fan inquiry about the release date, Gallagher stated, "Next week, you lucky lucky people." The duo's first single, accompanied by visuals featuring kaleidoscopic lights, was well-received by fans. Reflecting on the track, Squire described it as addressing disappointment yet also conveying an uplifting quality. Gallagher praised Squire as a top songwriter and expressed excitement about their collaboration, emphasizing the impact of Squire's melodies and guitars. The joint album, expected later this year, was crafted in Squire's Macclesfield studio and finalized in Los Angeles with producer Greg Kurstin, who also contributed bass to the record. Joey Waronker, known for his work with Beck and R.E.M., handled the drums. Gallagher teased the possibility of touring with Squire in the future.
