Avon/Swan River 2024 - Tuesday 6th August - TiTrees Last Half; Jimperding Brook to Superchute @0.68m

Beware of the 4 logs across the river at the start of Day 2 in the regular channel. If it's below 0.55m then you should be able to go under all 4 of them. If it's above 0.85m then you should be able to go over all 4 of them. The first log across the river is the lowest, if you can duck under that then you can probably stay in the middle channel all the way down. If that log is underwater and you can go over it then you can stay in the middle channel for now like we did yesterday:    • Avon/Swan River 2024 - Monday 5th Aug...  , but you may have to do the 'secret right channel' described below for the bottom log. If it's between 0.55m and 0.85m then you should do all of the below: Approximately 1 minute after the start of Day 2 at Cobblers Pool: Go left at the 'island' 37:23 (make sure you don't go too far left where I go at 37:52, go here instead:    • Avon/Swan River 2024 - Tuesday 30th J...  ) then switch to the right and cut across into the main channel 38:55 (and eventually 43:23), then 50m downstream go sharp right into the little secret channel on far river right 43:48, be sure to avoid the branch in the middle of the main channel as you cut across if its below 0.7m: 43:54 Its plain sailing from there. At 'Dead Tree Decision' 48:41 we tried both the middle 49:06 and the left 59:06 channels - take the middle!
