To grant sovereignty over a Kingdom, to grant the gift of Paradise's garden --
The Prophet is the possessor of absolute authority: he grants what he wishes to whom he wishes.

Jahaa Mein Unki Chalti Hai Wo Dum Me Kya Se Kya Karde
Zameen Ko Aasma Karde Surayya Ko Sara Karde
In the universe reigns his sovereignty, in a moment what can't he do?
To transform the earth into the heavens, a star cluster into dust!

Fiza Me Urr Ne Wale Yu(N) Na Itra-E-Nida Karde
Wo Jab Chahe Jisse Chahe Usse Farma Rawa Karde
Those who fly upon thin air: make no haughty declarations --
Whenever he wants, however he wants, by his decree he can dismiss you.

Meri Mushkil Ko Yu(N) Aa'saa(N) Mere Mushkil Kusha Karde
Har eK Mouj-E-Bala Ko Mere Mawla Na Khuda Karde
Thus render easy, my each and every tribulation, oh my eradicator of tribulation --
and steer me safely over the crashing waves of each and every misfortune.

Gil'le Taiba Me Mil Ja'u Gullo Me Milke Khil Ja'u
Hayaat E Jaawidaani Se Mujhe Yu(N) Aash'na Karde
May I be mixed with the dust of Taybah, and blossom having becoming one with the flowers --
thus come to familiarise me, with life everlasting!

Bala'o Ko Jo Meri Khud Giraftaar'e Bala Karde
And what worry have I, Akhtar? The one who comes to my aid is that very aid --
who will embroil these sorrows of mine, in a sorrow of their very own!
