There's something magical about castle ruins overlooking the sea that could almost make you believe that the fairy tales about knights and dragons and damsels in distress are true. We're going to layer our way to some lovely stone texture, push and pull highlights, and create our own relic of the past in this monochromatic painting. I used: • Chalk • Gesso (optional) • A 1-inch flat brush • 1/2-inch flat brush • #12 cloud brush • #6 cloud brush • 5/8-inch angle brush • #8 bright • #8 filbert • Flat natural bristle brush I’m using Liquitex Basics acrylic paint in the following colors: • Mars Black • Titanium White But you can use any colors you like.
