Transverse and Longitudinal Waves

This GCSE science physics video tutorial provides a basic introduction into transverse and longitudinal waves.  It discusses the difference between the crest and trough of a wave as well as other features such as frequency, period, wavelength, and wave speed.  Examples of transverse waves include electromagnetic waves, water waves, and waves on a string.  A sound wave is an example of a longitudinal wave.
