Chana masala is an easy and simple recipe. This can a good lunch box option. It can be made from very few ingredients and tastes just awesome. You can try this recipe at home and drop a comment for me. Do not forget to like, share and subscribe.

Ingredients:
• 1 cup whole Chana
• 2 cups Water
• 3~4 bay leaves
• Finely chopped Tomato
• 3 tsp Oil
• 1/2 tsp Cumin seeds
• Curry leaves
• Finely chopped Onion
• 1 tsp Ginger-Garlic paste
• 1 tsp Kala masala
• Red chili powder
• Salt to taste
• Finely chopped Coriander leaves

Method:
• Wash and soak chana in enough water for 1 day. You can soak it for 1 1/2 day too.
• Transfer the soaked chana into cooker.
• Add water, bay leaves, tomato and mix well.
• Cook on medium heat until 7-8 whistles.
• Heat up oil in a pan.
• Add cumin seeds and let it splutter.
• Add curry leaves, onion and fry until onion gets nice golden color.
• When onion gets light golden color add ginger-garlic paste, kala masala, red chili powder and
 mix well.
• Fry everything for just 2 minutes.
• You can use goda masala or kanda lasun masala or any other masala available in your home in
 place of kala masala.
• When masala begins to release oil add cooked chana, salt and mix well.
• You can decide the consistency as per your choice.
• Simmer on medium heat for another 7-8 minutes.
• Garnish with coriander leaves and chana masala is all ready.
