Let's be honest, with just over 220 miles of range and 218 hp, the 2023 Subarus Solterra doesn't look great on a spec sheet. In the real world, however, 0-60 mph happens in 6.2 seconds, it gets more like 222-228 miles of range, and its actual ground clearance create a fantastic combination. DC charging is on the slow side, but if the payback is increased battery longevity, there will be plenty of EV buyers well-suited for Subaru's first-ever EV.
