Pretty Ugly

The plaintiff says her daughter has won several beauty pageants, including one run by the defendant. She claims the defendant is refusing to give her the prize money, so she’s suing. The defendant says she tried to award the prize money several times, but she had to strip the title because of the plaintiff’s misconduct. She’s countersuing for slander.
