Do you think the universe keeps score?
While waiting for the bus, Connor decided to take a smoke break. When he was done, he threw the remaining piece of the cigarette on the ground. And right at this moment, another stub landed into his cup of coffee. He looked up to see no one there. Then, a few more cigarette ends came pouring down on him. A janitor came up to him, asked him to be mindful of his trash, and pointed to the garbage bin. But Connor just scoffed at him. He threw his coffee cup at the man’s feet and said, “I just don’t want you to be out of a job”.
The janitor began to clean up Connor’s mess and warned him, “What goes around, comes around”. He was utterly correct. And Connor would soon learn it the hard way.
