Between 1859 and 1930, nearly 18,000 Danes settled in Argentina. In fact, the wave of Danish immigration to Argentina was the third largest in the world, making it one of the largest Danish communities in the world. Svend Buus, a Scan Design Foundation intern at the Museum of Danish America, delves further into the subject of Danish immigration to Argentina for our Brown Bag Lunch Series.

The Brown Bag Lunch Program is made possible with financial support from Dennis Andersen of Atlanta, GA.
