This week I had the privilege of celebrating the birthday of "my person", my husband Danny, aka Boo. Danny and I have been married for almost 26 years. We've spent many happy birthdays together, and I can't imagine my life without his smile, his goofy jokes, his "smarts", his support and his love. But while I have been feeling all of this love and gratitude celebrating Danny, my heart has been breaking for two of my long time friends who both lost their life partners this past week.
While I know the partners who crossed over are totally fine, this doesn't minimize the shock and grief of my friends and their families. So I decided to dedicate my latest episode of .View from the Other Side. to them and to anyone else who has lost their life partner.
Know that our loved ones on the other side never cut their ties to us. So even though we say, 'Till Death Do Us Part', at death, our partners' souls actually grow to love us even more, and unconditionally. And if you feel your loved one passed while things remained unsaid, maybe you had an argument or their death was unexpected, heal yourself by talking to them. They will hear you. They will always be with you, so please do whatever it takes to heal and be happy, because that is what they want more than anything. For your heart to stay open, and for you to be happy.
