Make Cheap Sandbags from Common Materials

https://mikesinventions.etsy.com I show you how I used an old sheet and some plastic dropcloth to make several emergency sand tubes to control the flooding. The bags were designed for our maximum observed depth of 2", and they were designed to be as long as possible to minimize the number of gaps between bags. I also had to be able to carry them.
