Ek Stock jitna zyada liquid hoga aap utne easily usmei transaction kar paayenge without substantially impacting the market price.

Aap koi bhi large cap stock ko utha kar dekhiye- Reliance, TCS ,HDFC Bank -  inn sab mei aapko generally har price point, har 5 paise par buyers aur sellers milenge. Ye kuch highly liquid stocks ke examples hai. Inn stocks mei aap badi aasani se large quantities bhi execuete kar paayenge.

Ab issi ko hum midcap-smallcap stocks se compare karenge aur aap difference dekh paayenge:

Buyer seller aapko dur dur milenge. Mei yadi inmei trade kare jau toh screen pe jo price show kar rahi hai i.e. the last traded price aur mere actual buy price mei difference ho sakta hai. Iss difference ko technical terms mei slippage kehte hai.

Generally speaking, ek stock ki liquidity uske market capitalization ya fir more specifically uske free float market capitalization se positively related hoti hai. Higher the free float market cap, easier it is to trade in the stock
