Vettrivel (Rahul Ravindran) works as a mechanic in a shop owned by Ganja Karuppu. Romance blossoms between Vettri and Tamilselvi (Meera Nandan), daughter of Kathirvel (R V Udhayakumar). Sadly kathirvel has a pride about his caste and heads the association of their community. It is obvious that he is hell bent on opposing the romance. The couple elopes from the village.
