I Got The RITZ CARLTON CREDIT CARD! (...
Although the Ritz Carlton Credit Card was discontinued back in July 2018, you can still get it via product change from the 2 Marriott credit cards issued by Chase (those are the Marriott Bonvoy Bold credit card and the Marriott Bonvoy Boundless credit card). If you’d like to get the Ritz card too, see the link directly above for the video containing the steps.
I originally got the Ritz card when it was available via new applications in 2016 and had a $395 annual fee (now it’s at $450). I kept it for 1-2 years and then downgraded to the Bonvoy Boundless card ($95 annual fee) in 2018 because the larger fee on the Ritz didn’t make sense for me while I wasn’t traveling much.
3 years went by, and my travels picked up, so I was once again able to justify the larger Ritz fee and could make use of the benefits it offers.
Some of the biggest reasons why getting the Ritz Carlton Credit Card over the Marriott Bonvoy Boundless card are:
1. Annual $300 airfare credit covering incidental charges, including: in-flight purchases, in-flight WiFi, seat upgrade fees, baggage fees, airport lounges day passes & memberships, and more.
2. The BEST Priority Pass membership available on any credit card, offering free unlimited guests and access to Priority Pass restaurants.
3. Free authorized users, who all get their own Priority Pass memberships.
4. Annual Marriott Free Night Award certificate worth up to 50,000 points (i.e. Category 6 property at standard award pricing).
5. Excellent insurance coverages, including: primary rental car insurance, delayed baggage insurance, and trip delay insurance.
6. Ritz Carlton Club Level Upgrades: Up to 3 per year, each one valid for up to 7 nights, on paid stays.
