I will show you how to USE Old English for Dark Woods effectively, and REVIEW the final results with a walk around the desk that I am working on.
In this video, you will learn HOW to fix NICKS and SCRATCHES on your wooden furniture. This desk is missing a drawer; be sure to keep a look out for the video on how to fix the problem.
This works great to restore old or weathered furniture. To make the Old English work especially well, you can clean the effected area with alcohol to take all the oils and dirt out, so that the Old English can penetrate the wood better. Use Alcohol as a cleaner on wood at your own risk, as there is the possibility of drying out the existing stain to the point it cracks.
You will also find my video on refurbishing a french providential dresser helpful, as I review how I repurposed a missing drawer into a shelf.
