VIDEO DESCRIPTION - This painting tutorial will take you through easy to follow, step-by-step instructions on how to paint this adorable animal landscape image of "YOGA FROGS" with acrylic paint. You'll learn simple drawing and painting techniques that will help you to develop a realistic natural looking body of water with impressionistic style flowers surrounding it, with a large lily pad that is providing mother natures yoga mat for the three practicing frogs.  You can picture this to be spring or summer, early morning or mid-day, on a pond, stream, river, in a lake inlet, or nestled in a secluded garden.  You'll learn how to add atmospheric dimension in the sky and in the ripples of the water by painting in a loose abstract style using complimentary colors in the water giving the illusion of a reflection from the foliage, grass and wild flowers. You'll learn how to paint texture elements on the large leaf, in the flowers and in the water with sunshine being the light source providing powerful highlights and shadows throughout the composition allowing for a real photo quality.  The soft out of focus background may give the illusion of a fog or mist around trees, shrubs, or more wild pond reeds, which will give a calming Zen feel to the painting bringing quiet stillness in this tranquil natural environment. With the construction of the composition you'll learn to draw these cute frogs in different yoga positions, such as a warrior pose, tree pose, seated, crossed legged and prayer.  You can certainly put your frogs in any other position, like downward facing dog, boat, cobra, headstand, triangle, child, plank or locust.  The possibilities for the posses are almost endless!  And of course you can change up the type of frogs to be, toads, leopards, horned, lemur, jungle, wood or even tiger species!  You'll paint this narrative illustration style painting of an outdoor waterscape with amphibians captivating the viewer with their strong meditation posses.  Inspired by the symbolism of frogs to be that of fertility, transformation, purity, prosperity, good luck, and their presence is said to heal our mind, body and soul, similarly to the healing power of Yoga, which is a group of physical, mental, and spiritual practices or disciplines that originated in ancient India, aimed at controlling and stilling the mind, and recognizing the detached 'witness-consciousness' as untouched by the activities of the mind and mundane suffering, these two elements make for a great marriage in a work of art!  This painting is sure to impress the viewer and compliment the décor of any room. Using only 3 brushes and 6 colors we'll create this conversational masterpiece with a magnificent lively energy in a charming tranquil setting. So let's get painting and let's get sipping!
