Soil Orders of Soil Taxonomy: Simplified Key

There are 12 Orders - the highest level of classification - in Soil Taxonomy. Classification uses a dichotomous key beginning with the Order level, then proceeding to the lower levels of classification: Suborder, Great Group, and Subgroup. The Family and Series levels are not based on dichotomous keys.
