Here's a late 1980's CKE 16" industrial exhaust fan, model EST-16/4BL. This fan had never seen a buyer other than me in its entire life because of some weird corporate rule that forbids selling products that are no longer made at a reduced price. This resulted in people steering clear from discontinued products in fear of not being able to get parts for them.

This fan is actually the very last 1980's 16" exhaust fan the store I bought it from had in stock. It's cosmetically rough, but its spinny motory bits is still in great shape since it had so little running hours.

This fan interestingly shared its fan blade with CKE's other commercial duty products at the time, this orbit fan for example: Unknown CKE orbit ceiling fan has the exact same blade shape as this exhaust fan. The blades on this fan are made from very thin(for its class) steel sheets, and it tends to flex a bit when it's on. It's also a lot louder than my Panasonic FV-40AFU, draws 16 more watts, has lower build quality, but it moves a lot more air than the Panasonic which is all that I want it to do, so I'm not complaining.
