How To Mix Modern Plaster

In this video I'll show you how to mix a slightly unorthodox "modern plaster" that I use often to skim coat old plaster walls and drywall to give it an old plaster look but with the challenges and skill needed to do a traditional 3-coat plaster wall system.

A lot of plasterers think this is crazy or downright stupid, but I've used it for years with great success and you can too!

The big benefit of this plaster mashup is that it eliminates the need for a bonding agent and can be applied over a lot of substrates that might otherwise be troublesome like old paint (even semigloss), metal, wood, drywall, old plaster, glass, brick, stone, plastic and a ton more. It's bonds to just about anything!
