Boiling Era: Climate Change in Antarctica

To mark World Environment Day and World Ocean Day 2024, Better Blue and the esteemed Chinese actor and climate change advocate, Yi Zhang, unveiled a powerful micro-documentary titled "Boiling Era”, shedding light on the impact of climate change on the Antarctic ecosystem —— recent data indicates that over the past 50 years, the average temperature on the Antarctic Peninsula has risen by nearly 3 degrees Celsius.This collaboration is in support of the United Nations' urgent call to action on environmental preservation.

Polar Latitudes had the privilege of being chosen as the Antarctic expedition company for this significant project, in collaboration with the United Nations Environment Programme and Better Blue. Through this initiative, BlueBetter aims to raise awareness about the pressing issue of climate change and its consequences on our planet's fragile ecosystems.
