I hiked the prettiest valley in East Tyrol

The Gschlössltal lies in the northern part of East Tyrol, in the national park Hohe Tauern in Austria, near the village of Matrei, and is considered to be one of the most beautiful valleys in the region. East Tyrol is less crowded than Tyrol and a real hidden gem in Austria. You can hike from the Matreier Tauernhaus to the Venedigerhaus in Innergschlössl, where you have stunning vistas of the Schlatenkees glacier. The roundtrip takes about three hours.
