With a fantastic restaurant on-site, and beachfront premium full hookup sites, this is the best RV Park we've stayed at while RVing in Mexico. We've been here for 3 months!
In this weeks episode we prepare to leave our quarantine spot at Freedom Shores Hotel & RV Park, located on the small fishing island of Isla Aguada. We also provide an update on how our newest member of the family, Scout, is adjusting to living with us and two other dogs! Finally, we take you behind the scenes as we complete a photo shoot for Freedom Shores in support of a new website we are building for the property.
Located 45 minutes east of Ciudad del Carmen in the Mexican state of Campeche, Freedom Shores combines a universally accessible (exceeding ADA requirements) boutique hotel with the excellent La Gringa restaurant. Fresh seafood caught daily in the waters surrounding Isla Aguada are paired with local flavors and classic recipes, and is also available as room service or delivered to your RV site. We cannot believe how lucky we were to find this RV park to ride out the stay-at-home orders while here in Mexico, and it is truly one of our all-time favorite places we have ever stayed since hitting the road August 2018 in our Winnebago Navion 24D.
