Cash Money Records wasn’t the massive powerhouse it is today. Birdman was grinding hard with a bunch of artists, trying to make them blow up. Buck joined the crew, hoping to make it big alongside them. But as the years went by, things didn’t go as planned for Buck. He spent about three to four years with Cash Money, and none of his music ever got released. He got sidelined while other Cash Money artists like Lil Wayne, Juvenile, and B.G. were blowing up. It was a frustrating time for him because he had all this talent but no way to show it to the world.
