Free kids coding lessons to teach beginner computer programming concepts. This 15 lesson ScratchJr video series helps teachers introduce coding to 5-8 year olds using the ScratchJr app. Lessons build on each other as new skills are learned.
Fun for anyone, but great for kindergarten through second grade.
Good for students on their own, in the classroom, or in homeschool. Simply watch the video, then code what you saw.
In Lesson 4, students learn to make characters start moving when they are touched by the user or by another character.
