In this video Rory (The Love Chat) discusses the grass is greener syndrome! Is your EX going through the Grass is Greener Syndrome? Are YOU going through the Grass is Greener Syndrome? We also call this a “quarter life crisis”. In this video Rory (The Love Chat) gives some advice on what to do if your Ex is going through a case of GIGS. It is important to allow your EX the time and space to figure out what they need during the grass is greener syndrome so they don’t feel as though the dumpee as preventing them from experiencing what they felt like they needed during this time.

Sometimes the Grass is Greener syndrome is also known as “FOMO” or “Fear of missing out” when your EX feels as though staying in a relationship with you is preventing them from experiencing life fully or growing because your EX feels like you are “holding them back”. Sometimes this is the case but usually if you give your EX time after the breakup to experience whatever they feel like they need they will often revisit the idea of the relationship. Give them time to grow, and space away from you while you are working on yourself.
