Cig Harvey’s photographs have been exhibited in permanent collections of major museums, including the Museum of Fine Arts, Houston, and the George Eastman House International Museum of Photography, in Rochester, New York. Cig was a recent finalist for the BMW Prize at Paris Photo and, in the spring of 2012, had her first solo museum show at the Stenersen Museum, in Oslo, in conjunction with the release of her monograph You Look At Me Like An Emergency. Cig is a full-time assistant professor of photography at the Art Institute of Boston at Lesley University. She is known for her high energy, optimism, and creative teaching style. This is her eighth year teaching for The Workshops. Her website is cigharvey.com.
