آج روٹھے ہوئے ساجن کو بہت یاد کیا
اپنے اجڑے ہوئے گلشن کو بہت یاد کیا
جب کبھی گردش تقدیر نے گھیرا ہے ہمیں
گیسوئے یار کی الجھن کو بہت یاد کیا
شمع کی جوت پہ جلتے ہوئے پروانوں نے
اک تیرے شعلہ دامن کو بہت یاد کیا
جس کے ماتھے پہ نئی صبح کا جھومر ہوگا
ہم نے اس وقت کی دلہن کو بہت یاد کیا
آج ٹوٹے ہوئے سپنوں کی بہت یاد آئی
آج بیتے ہوئے ساون کو بہت یاد کیا
ہم سر طور بھی مایوس تجلی ہی رہے
اس دریار کی چلمن کو بہت یاد کیا
مطمئین ہو ہی گئے دام قفس میں ساغر
ہم اسیروں نے نشیمن کو بہت یاد کیا
