Just after 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday, January 23, 2024, PCSO deputies and detectives, working with the Winter Haven Police Department, took murder suspect Enrique Martinez into custody in the area of Cooley Road and SR 540 (Winter Lake Road) in Winter Haven.

Enrique has a warrant for first degree murder in the November 2023 homicide of Edil Rodriguez, Jr., and is also a suspect in the murder of Sierra Hernandez that occurred during the early part of January 2024.
