A security guard convicted of planning “unspeakable violence” against Holly Willoughby faces life imprisonment as he is sentenced today.  

Gavin Plumb, from Harlow, Essex, was found guilty of hatching a plot to kidnap, murder and rape the former This Morning host following a week-long trial.

The 37-year-old shook his head and closed his eyes before sobbing in the dock last week as the jury announced its unanimous verdict after 12 hours and 19 minutes of deliberation.
