One of the easiest ways
One of the easiest ways to build custom WordPress blocks is using Advanced Custom Fields. But with WordPress 5.9 and the new full site editing features, plugins like ACF had to work on an update to make sure their plugin would function with the new block based themes.
Luckily, Advanced Custom Fields just released ACF 5.12 which introduces compatibility for WP 5.9 features like the full site editor, the query loop block, and the new widget editor.
In this stream, we'll be creating a few custom blocks using ACF to learn how it will work with the new twenty twenty two theme.
