Despite Sten guns being abhorrent garbage toobs they actually served a fantastic purpose during world war 2. Compared to the other SMGs of the era they were one of the lowest in terms of quality, but one of the best in terms of quantity. They were of course phased out after the Second World War in favor of the Sterling...Until Nigel Thiccbottum of the Kings Royal Dragoons snagged one and brought it out of retirement
