I have a lot more I could say about this, and... just the difficulty and the intensity of becoming self-aware of these patterns that I brought from my childhood, and how they played out in my adult life and in my marriage, and how to become a healthier person by learning to discard some of those patterns, and learning that the way that I could have stronger, better relationships with both autistic people and neurotypical people --- with everyone -- was to really stand more solidly in myself and keep my silver, metaphorically speaking, sharing it carefully with those who have proven to me that they deserve it. And not with those who would exploit me and steal from me for whatever reason.
