Testing out the GF1's autofocus
Testing out the GF1's autofocus during video, low light performance and general video quality.
The autofocus works well most of the time, but can hunt for the correct subject on occasion. I think manual focus is better for the best video experience, but the autofocus has its uses.
In low light, the GF1 performs well, this video was shot at ISO 400, f/2.5 on the 14mm pancake lens. This lens gives excelent bokeh and depth of field.
Audio quality is average for a camera of this type, sadly no external audio input is available.
Overall, a very impressive display from the little GF1, it wont replace a dedicated camcorder, but will shoot very good quality clips to treasure. Nikon and DSLR camera tutorials, guides and reviews. If you need help using your Nikon Dslr camera, then I will guide you through learning the controls and functions. I will also explain the fundamentals of photography such as ISO, aperture and Shutter speed.
