A look around Cunard Queen
A look around Cunard Queen Mary 2 Elizabeth goes cruising again.
Queen Mary 2 entered service in January of 2004. At the present time, she is the only true ocean liner in operation. Let’s go inside and have a look around.
The plushly carpeted corridors have interesting reliefs on the walls.
The Grand Lobby and Purser’s office are located on deck 2
This area is lite from above buy a Led lighting system.
Opposite the Purser’s office on the port side is a small casino.
We take the lift to deck 3.
The Mayfair shops are located midships around the atrium.
The comfortable Chartroom and Champagne bar area on the starboard side.
The Champagne Bar has a collection of photographs of old-time movie stars.
Sir Samual’s, is another comfortable bar. Named after Sir Samuel Cunard, the founder of the Cunard line.
The yummy Godiva chocolate display.
The Carinthia lounge. Lite meals are served during the day. A band plays here in the evening.
Queen Mary 2 has 10 dining rooms. The two-deck-high Britannia restaurant is the main dining venue.
Afternoon tea is served in the Queen’s room.
There is a fully equipped Gym on deck 7 forward.
The Royal Court Theater is a lovely venue with seating for 1094. It stages lavish West-End style productions and top cabaret acts.
