After Effects Tutorial - Laser Etched Metal Pt1

Here's part one of this two-part tute showing you how to use After Effects to create a laser burning text into metal. Uses only the standard toolset in AE, but you will need CS4 or CS5 (CS3 doesn't have the 'convert to masks' option).
