Inhotim: Where Art Meets Nature

Create & Inspire 2014 is an initiative to discover talented young artists in Saudi Arabia, Qatar, UAE and the UK. 12 artists were chosen to take part in the creative journey of a lifetime to Brazil.

We spent two days exploring Inhotim, a contemporary art wonderland set amid 5,000 acres of botanical gardens in southeastern Brazil. Its grounds are dotted with sculptures, art pavilions and over 4,000 plant species. The team had the chance to experience hundreds of works by renowned Brazilian and international artists in a majestic setting.

The initiative is supported by Art Jameel and Qatar Museums, and is part of Qatar Brazil 2014 Year of Culture.
