To Make Wheat Rava Idli

Wheat Rava - 1 Cup
Salt - 1/2 Tsp
Curd - 1 Cup
Water
Oil - 2 Tsp
Chana Dal - 1 Tsp
Urad Dal - 1 Tsp
Mustard Seeds - 1 Tsp
Cumin Seeds - 1 Tsp
Ginger
Green Chilli - 1 No.
Hing - 1/4 Tsp
Curry Leaves

Method:

1. Roast the wheat rava for 5 mins on a medium flame.
2. Transfer it to a plate and let it cool down fully.
3. Once the wheat rava is cooled down, add salt, curd, water and mix.
4. Let the rava-curd mixture set for about 1 hour.
5. For the tempering, take oil in a pan. Add chana dal, urad dal, mustard seeds, cumin seeds and saute.
6. Once the mustard seeds start splattering, add chopped ginger, green chillies, curry leaves and mix well.
7. Lastly add in hing and turn off the stove.
8. Mix the the tempering with rava batter and add water if required to the same.
9. Grease the idli moulds with some oil.
10. Place roasted cashewnuts in the middle of the moulds and add batter to them.
11. Steam cook the rava idlis for a minimum of 15 mins.
12. Yummy and healthy Wheat Rava Idlis are ready to be served hot and nice with any chutney of your choice by the side.
