A lovely excerpt from the Periyazhwar Tirumozhi, Periyazhwar imagines himself as Yashoda, and refers to the little cloud-hued manikin, as the one who measured the earth and as Devaki’s little lion, in this lullaby to Lord Krishna, as he lies in his bejewelled cradle.
