Candy Apples 1/2 cup water1

1/2 cup water
1 cup corn syrup
2 cups sugar
1/4 cup cinnamon red hots
8 small apples
Sticks
1. Combine water, corn syrup and sugar. Stir till dissolved over med heat.
2. Cook using a candy thermometer till 250 degrees F .
then add the cinnamon red hots stir allowing them to melt.
3. Continue to cook mixture until temperature reaches 285 degrees F.
4 Dip the apples..
5. Cool on parchment paper
Note: instead of the cinnamon red hots you can add other flavorings and food colors.
