Imines and enamines are tautomers of one another. Their interconversion requires movement of a pi bond and a bond to hydrogen. Just like keto and enol tautomers. The imine tautomer is strongly favored over the enamine tautomer. There are reactions that rely on the low concentration of the enamine tautomer, but the vast majority of the material has the imine structure.
