Part-4: Interview series | Material of Impact Crusher component | Working Principle | Why impact crusher so popular in Cement Plant for Lime stone crushing.
Hammer crushers reduce mineral materials such as Lime stone, concrete, asphalt and natural rock in size to produce a valuable commodity product. A fast spinning rotor throws the material against a solid stationary impact wall. The striking and impacting causes the material to shatter into smaller pieces.
Primary Impact Crushers are preferred for their high capacity and reduction ratios in crushing soft and medium hard rocks like limestone, gypsum. Due to their operating principle, reduction ratio is higher than in jaw crushers.
