The MICHELIN Guide invites you to explore the diversity of the Spanish culinary scene and its rich heritage throughout some of our best local spots. In this video, we unveiled the gastronomic and touristic secrets of Albacete province with Raíz Culinaria as we are making our way to Toledo, where the Gala of the MICHELIN Guide Spain & Portugal 2023 will take place on November 22nd.

This route began with an exquisite dinner in Almansa, where the chef Fran Martínez and his wife, sommelier and head waiter, Cristina Díaz, opened the doors of their restaurant Maralba, 2 MICHELIN stars, welcoming Fina Puigdevall from restaurant Les Cols de Olot, also Two MICHELI Star. The following day they enjoyed a tasting at the Rodríguez de Vera winery in Chinchilla, a visit of the castle and caves of Alcalá del Júcar alon with the city of Albacete, where they were able to discover the world of cutlery. In the gastronomic section, they were delighted with the cuisine of Don Gil, in Albacete, and Azafrán, in Villarrobledo, both distinguished with a Bib Gourmand.

Descubrimos los secretos gastronómicos y turísticos de la provincia de Albacete, acompañados junto a Raíz Culinaria, en uno de nuestros cinco viajes hacia la Gala de la Guía MICHELIN España & Portugal 2023, que podremos vivir en Toledo el próximo martes 22 de Noviembre.

Esta ruta se inició con una exquisita cena en Almansa, donde el chef Fran Martínez y su mujer, sumiller y jefe de sala, Cristina Díaz, abrieron las puertas de su restaurante Maralba, con 2 Estrellas MICHELIN, para recibir a Fina Puigdevall del restaurante Les Cols de Olot, también biestrellado. Al día siguiente disfrutaron de una cata en la Bodega Rodríguez de Vera, en Chinchilla, de la visita al castillo y a las cuevas de Alcalá del Júcar y a la ciudad de Albacete, donde además pudieron acercarse al universo de la cuchillería. En el apartado gastronómico, se deleitaron con la cocina de Don Gil, en Albacete, y de Azafrán, en Villarrobledo, ambos distinguidos en la categoría Bib Gourmand.
