Légion Étrangère : ils repartent de zéro pour la France

“Who knows if the stranger who sleeps under the immense arch, Mixing his shadowy glory with the splendours of the past, Is not this foreigner who has become a son of France, Not by blood received but by blood shed”. This 65-minute documentary film portrays the legionnaires, from their training in Aubagne and Castelnaudary, to operational missions in Guyana and Afghanistan. It also analyzes the "Legion system", which is based on a particular structural organization, but also on a set of values, which welds recruits by nature heterogeneous into a homogeneous body, and which is recognized in its motto: Legio Patria Nostra.
