We had an incredible day with the people of Kaskay in the famous Zagros mountains of Iran, who we could understand without needing a second language. We saw the joy in their eyes of seeing us speaking Turkish. It was a wonderful day that made us return to our roots. If you are to visit Iran someday, you should definitely visit the Qashqai Turks who live in the mountains of Zagros and experience their lives closely for at least one day.
