The new Tissot PR516 Chronograph is a true blast from the past.
In recent years, Tissot has been ramping up its retro-mechanical watchmaking capabilities, through collections such as the PRX, the Sideral and the Telemeter 1938. Tissot now takes a good look at its extensive motorsports heritage and brings back a cool 1970s racing watch with the new 2024 Tissot PR516 Mechanical Chronograph.
What once was a very capable wide racing chronograph in a compact 37mm size, now makes a return as a retro-styled modernly sized watch. With the new PR516, Tissot honours its past but also its present-day watchmaking, as it updates not only the size but also the mechanics for this modernized PR516.
